THE BACKGROUND: Video Engineering has been involved with the repair and maintenance of a wide range of pipe inspection camera equipment for over a decade. In that time we have learnt what differentiates the good from the bad and the ugly, and also what owners and operators find appealing or annoying about their equipment. Using this knowledge, plus our extensive experience in the areas of broadcast and industrial electronics, we have developed the PIPE PAL inspection equipment for plumbers, drain layers and inspection/maintenance companies. PIPE PAL 2  The PIPE PAL 2 is a complete control system for SeeSnake brand camera reels that replaces the original controller / monitor / recorder. It is battery and mains powered, features an excellent full keyboard text writer, a digital video recorder / player that records to USB flash drive and a high resolution 10 inch LCD monitor, all housed in a sturdy, portable metal framed equipment case. PIPE PAL 1:  The PIPE PAL 1, is a full keyboard text writer and digital video recorder, that records to a USB flash drive. PIPE PAL 3  |
Currently in development is Pipe Pal 3. A complete push camera system, designed and manufactured in New Zealand. It will feature a choice of strong, flexible, durable pushrods, a compact self levelling camera head, multi frequency sonde transmitter, rugged, waterproof stainless steel camera reel and a control unit developed from our Pipe Pal 2 technology.
